Hot on the heels of our Coed Spring/Summer 2024 Softball League, we're excited to present the Syracuse Sports Association Men's Softball League, taking place on Sunday afternoons. Picture this: the sun high in the sky, the energetic buzz of competition, and a field echoing with the cheers of a great game. Here's the lowdown on what promises to be an unforgettable season.
As the coed league wraps up, the men's league takes the spotlight. Games start in the early afternoon, perfect for those who love the warmth and vibrancy of a sunny day. It's time for the guys to step up to the plate and showcase their softball prowess!
Our venue remains the same - the picturesque Baldwinsville Community Park. A fantastic location for back-to-back softball action, it's where Sunday afternoons are transformed into a showcase of skill and sportsmanship.
Registering for the men's league brings its own set of benefits. Professional umpires will be on the ground to oversee the games, receiving $30 before each game for their essential role. Every game begins with a fresh, new softball, ensuring a quality experience for all players.
Teams can track their progress on our dedicated webpage, a great way to keep up with the competition. And here's the exciting part – the men's league features a minimum of 12 dynamic games, leading up to an exhilarating playoff series. Each game offers 70 minutes of intense, 7-inning play, ensuring a fast-paced and engaging experience, with no new innings starting after 65 minutes.
So, gentlemen, gather your teammates, get your gloves ready, and prepare for an afternoon of exceptional softball. The men's league is all about hitting it big, making those critical catches, and enjoying the spirit of the game in a competitive setting.
